If you have your contacts stored in Excel and want to import them to your iPhone, here's how you can do it.
Firstly, make sure that your Excel file is in a format where each row represents a contact and each column represents a different piece of information (e.g., name, email, phone number).
To import your contacts from Excel to iPhone, follow these steps:
Open the Excel file on your computer and select the "File" tab. Then click "Save As" and make sure the "Save as type" dropdown menu is set to "CSV (Comma delimited)" or "CSV (Tab delimited)" depending on your preference. This will convert your Excel file into a CSV file that can be easily imported into most programs.
Once you have saved your Excel file as a CSV, open the file with a text editor (e.g., Notepad++ or Microsoft Word). You'll notice that the contents of the file are arranged in a vertical format with each contact's information separated by commas or tabs.
Next, you'll need to convert this vertical format into a horizontal format that can be imported into your iPhone. To do this, select all the contents of the CSV file (Ctrl + A) and then press Ctrl + C to copy the selected text.
Open a new email message in your email client (e.g., Gmail or Yahoo Mail) and paste the copied text into the body of the email message (Ctrl + V). You should now see the contacts arranged horizontally in the email message.
Finally, follow these steps to import the contacts to your iPhone:
Open the "Settings" app on your iPhone.
Scroll down and tap on "Mail, Contacts, Calendars."
Under "Importing," select "From VCard."
Now, you need to email the contact list to yourself as a VCard attachment. To do this, compose a new email message in your email client and attach the CSV file to the email message. In the "To" field, enter your own email address. In the subject line, type "Contacts Import" or something similar to identify the email.
Send the email message to yourself.
Once you receive the email message with the attached CSV file, follow these steps to import the contacts to your iPhone:
Open the email message on your iPhone and tap on the attachment to open it. The attachment should open in the "Photos" app by default.
Tap on the "Import" button in the upper-right corner of the screen to import the contacts into your iPhone. The contacts will be saved in your iPhone's default contacts app.
You can now access your imported contacts from the "Contacts" app on your iPhone.
That's it! You have successfully imported your contacts from Excel to iPhone.
